I have been mosaicing for about 4 years and although my first love was oil painting, I am constantly drawn back to mosaicing for its colour, exuberance and diversity.  I sometimes think of it as painting with glass or ceramics.
 
I was always fascinated with Roman mosaics, but was blown away by modern mosaics with its limitless possibilities for self expression.
 
I have recently attended my first BAMM meeting and am impressed by the warmth of the welcome and shared enthusiasm of its members.  I hope to show my work at future exhibitions.
